Professor Claudia Bernard, Dr Teresa Peres, and Dr Anita Sharma join Goldsmiths Research Café to discuss their research on the impact of COVID-19 to children from Black and Minority Ethnic Families and Communities (BAME FC).

For Black and Asian children already experiencing the adverse effects of structural inequalities, the pandemic has added further challenges in relation to maintaining resilience. The preliminary findings show what children are doing on a day-to-day basis to increase their resilience in the wake of the pandemic. Their perspectives provide important insights into the complex mixture of factors that must be understood to build resilience beyond COVID-19.

There will be opportunity for questions and discussion after the talk.

This Research Café will take place on Microsoft Teams. Attendance is free but please register via Eventbrite.

All registered attendees will receive an email containing the Teams link and instructions for joining on the day of the event.
