Work Package 1: Emergency Powers

About Work Package 1:

Emergency Powers investigates vague COVID Act powers to understand their impact on practices of well-being and resilience across BAMEFC, and seeks to mitigate potential jeopardy of COVID-19 emergency powers on BAMEFC.

WP1 will:

• Conduct up to 50 interviews with key informants on understanding and implementation of emergency powers;
• Hold six online ‘Testimony Days’ organised with community partners to gather experiences of COVID-19 emergency powers;
• Produce short filmed testimonies on the experience of policing under emergency powers.
